Molesworth Muster 80km Mountain Bike Adventure Race

The Molesworth Muster is an amazing adventure. Take up this once a year opportunity to access the original track that was once used to muster cattle from the historic Molesworth Station to Hanmer Springs. Make your way to the start line, camp overnight and race out in the morning!
Rockgas Hanmer Gospel Jazz and Blues Festival
27th to 28th February 2010
This all ages music festival is a first for Hanmer Springs. Spend the weekend visiting cafes, each with a different jazz or blues performer, or enjoy a picnic in Waiarki Nature Park, accompanied by a blues quartet.

Bivouac Mount Isobel Challenge

This event is an annual mountain duathlon, which involves an 8km run, 1000m ascent mountain-run and a 22km mountain bike ride. The race can be done individually or as a two person team.
Hanmer Four Square Half Marathon & 10km Run/Walk

The half marathon & 10 km run through Hanmer Forest is held annually as a community fundraiser. Cash prizes are on offer for the winners. Entries close 27th April 2010.
